Event: 2015 WCIT Summer Luncheon – Trade Policy View from D.C.

August 5,12:00pm - 1:30pm

It’s going to be a hot summer for trade policy – by August Congress will have voted on both Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) and the Export-Import Bank. Join WCIT and our panel of DC trade experts as they share lessons learned from TPA and Ex-Im Bank advocacy efforts and discuss implications for the future. With the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership (TTIP) nearing on the horizon, they will also share their insights on how these trade agreements will impact their industries and benefit Washington state workers and employers.

2015 has the potential to be the most important year for trade in the last quarter century – don’t miss this opportunity to stay up to date on critical trade policy movement!

Confirmed Speakers:

  • Jonathan Gold, National Retail Federation
  • David Thomas, Business Roundtable
  • Additional speakers to be announced soon!
