The Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms (TAAF) is a cost-sharing program funded through the Economic Development Administration (EDA), U.S. Department of Commerce. The program helps established U.S. companies negatively impacted by foreign competition by providing up to $75,000 in federal assistance.

The Northwest Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (NorthwestTAAC) provides application assistance and federal funding assistance to help companies save jobs, increase productivity, and build a solid foundation for future growth. For over 50 years, TAAF has helped thousands of companies across all industries improve their competitive edge and protect their profits. NorthwestTAAC assists companies in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.

Eligible companies pick the projects that will be funded and their preferred vendors. NorthwestTAAC prepares and submits all application and project paperwork to EDA at a nominal cost. Funding can be used for a wide variety of projects.
